A New Look at the Class of '35

How One Class Represents the District's Student Achievement Goals

December 10, 2025
Two years ago, our district chose 75 by 35 as our new student achievement goal. By the Class of 2035, we want 75% of our graduates to earn post-secondary credentials or certifications and 100% of our graduates to feel supported and prepared for the next step in their journey.

The same year we chose the 75 by 35 goal, we also started the long-term project of following the Class of 2035 through photos. Our hope is to photograph this bunch each time they advance to a new building in our district. We are excited to watch their career and college goals grow and evolve as our district's career and college readiness focus prepares them for the journey ahead.

We recently got the chance to visit with the members of the Class of 2035 - this year's 3rd graders. Take a look at their new photos versus those we took just two years ago and how this class represents our district's work toward our 75 by 35 goals.

Our 75 by 35 goal is to prepare and support 100% of our students for their next journey. Our K-12 career and college readiness focus begins the process of exploring careers with students from their first years with us. As our students' career and college pathways become clear to them, our district's support helps them focus on not just what they want, but how to get there.

Our career and college readiness efforts ensure every student has access to not just a quality education, but also the tools to explore what comes next. Our students identify their career and college interests and then have the opportunity to deepen their understanding and refine their goals.
